Juventus have entered the race for Tottenham full-back Djed Spence as they look to overhaul their wing-back options.
Italian reports suggest the Bianconeri’s hierarchy have identified the versatile 25-year-old Englishman as a target, with sporting director Marco Ottolini hoping his existing relationship with the player — built during Spence’s January 2024 loan to Genoa, part of the deal that brought Dragusin to Spurs — could help smooth a move.
Spence enjoyed a strong 2025/26 under De Zerbi, reviving his career after a series of mixed loan spells. He made 44 appearances across competitions and became a valuable tactical option thanks to his ability to play either flank, form that earned him a place in England’s 2026 World Cup squad.
A deal won’t be straightforward, with Spence under contract until 2029, giving Tottenham strong leverage. Still, having already landed Robertson on a free, Spurs could be open to a sale. Juventus rate Spence highly, but any move likely depends on Andrea Cambiaso leaving first — he’s drawing interest from clubs including Barcelona. As a fallback, Juventus are also keeping tabs on Roma’s Zeki Celik as a cheaper alternative.
