Liverpool Agree Personal Terms With Another Winger as Bradley Barcola Transfer Gains Momentum
Liverpool have reportedly taken another major step in their ambitious summer transfer plans after reaching an agreement on personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye.
The 18-year-old is said to have agreed financial terms on a five-year contract with the Reds, with Liverpool now working to reach an agreement with PSG over the transfer fee. Mbaye has attracted interest from Bayer Leverkusen, but reports indicate that he has chosen Liverpool and is keen on a move to the Premier League.
The development comes as Liverpool continue their pursuit of Mbaye’s PSG teammate Bradley Barcola. The French winger remains one of the club’s top attacking targets, and Liverpool have reportedly stepped up their efforts with an improved offer worth around €135 million (£115m).
Barcola has already agreed personal terms with Liverpool, meaning the major obstacle is now reaching an agreement with PSG over the transfer fee. Reports suggest the French champions have reduced their valuation from an initial £145m, giving the Reds renewed hope of completing the deal.
