Liverpool’s pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola is reportedly still active, with Fabrizio Romano suggesting a “Here we go” could arrive at any moment if PSG accept the Reds’ offer.
Romano says Liverpool and PSG remain in daily contact over the 23-year-old, who has been a long-term priority for the club throughout the summer.
The transfer journalist explained that Liverpool’s focus is now simply on getting their proposal accepted. If PSG give the green light, the deal could quickly move to the medical and contract-signing stages.
The saga has continued for months, despite previous claims that Barcola was not available for transfer. Romano insists Liverpool have consistently viewed the France international as one of their main attacking targets.
With the transfer window entering its final days, Liverpool could now be approaching a decisive moment.
The Athletic also reports that Liverpool held further talks with PSG to understand the direction of negotiations, while other reports have suggested progress behind the scenes.
Barcola would represent a major investment, but Liverpool reportedly see him as an ideal attacking replacement following Mohamed Salah’s departure.
For now, nothing is officially agreed, but Liverpool supporters still have reason to believe a dramatic late move for Barcola could happen.
