Andy Robertson’s departure from Liverpool FC has now been officially confirmed ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
In an emotional Instagram message, the Dutchman wrote: “You arrived as teammates, but you leave as legends — and above all, as family.”
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, the Scottish defender is being tipped for a possible move to Tottenham Hotspur, managed by Roberto De Zerbi, who are currently struggling.
As for Mohamed Salah, his next destination remains unclear. While there have been suggestions linking him with Bayern Munich, those reports appear to be far from accurate.
A move to the Middle East or possibly Major League Soccer seems more realistic as the forward approaches the latter stages of his career.
Regardless of what happens next, both players are owed huge appreciation for their roles in one of the most successful eras in the club’s history.
