He’s Agreed to Join: Tottenham Ready to Fast-Track Deal for ‘Incredible’ Forward

Tottenham Hotspur Ramp Up Chase for New Attacker as Savinho Becomes Top Priority

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking to fast-track a new attacking signing as they push forward with an ambitious rebuild under Roberto De Zerbi, according to a source close to the club.

Spurs have already had a productive window, wrapping up six major deals. Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka, Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali have all joined for a combined £235 million, while highly rated youngster Luka Vuskovic has moved on to Brighton.

With the defence and midfield strengthened, and goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky handed a new deal to cement his status as first choice, Tottenham’s focus has now turned fully to their attacking options.

Spurs Set to Ramp Up Savinho Chase

Reports suggest Tottenham are gearing up to push harder for Manchester City winger Savinho.

The Brazilian, once described as “incredible” by Pep Guardiola, was on Spurs’ radar last summer before signing a new long-term deal to stay at City. But with first-team chances limited and Guardiola no longer in charge, a move away this summer looks increasingly likely.

Tottenham have reportedly made the 22-year-old their top target for the wide attacking positions once again, with suggestions he’s open to the switch — something that’s spurred Spurs to step up their pursuit.

City are said to value Savinho at around £60 million, though Tottenham are hopeful that figure can be talked down. Despite the price tag, he’s become a priority signing for the club, who are keen to get a deal over the line quickly.

New City boss Enzo Maresca is reportedly open to letting him leave, but any transfer will depend on the right terms being agreed. Savinho’s contract runs until June 2031, so Spurs will need to satisfy both player and club before a deal can be finalised.

Savinho Could Give Tottenham’s Attack a Lift

Savinho’s lack of regular starts at City owed more to the strength of competition for places than any doubts over his quality.

At Tottenham, he’d be expected to compete straight away for the right-wing spot. His pace, tight control and dribbling ability make him a real handful in one-on-one duels, while his dangerous left foot allows him to both create chances and score from wide positions.

Given Tottenham’s clear willingness to spend big this window, a deal for Savinho looks to be picking up steam — and could end up being one of the club’s standout signings of the summer if talks continue to progress.
