Tottenham Hotspur’s summer business isn’t finished yet, with up to five more senior players potentially set to leave as Roberto De Zerbi continues overhauling the squad ahead of his debut season in charge.
Spurs have already seen a number of exits this summer. Luka Vuskovic, Radu Dragusin and Alejo Veliz have all left on permanent deals, and Yves Bissouma departed once his contract ran out. Loan pair Randal Kolo Muani and Joao Palhinha also returned to their parent clubs at the end of their spells, with Palhinha sharing an emotional farewell message to fans before heading back.
At the same time, Tottenham have spent big on new faces, bringing in six signings for a combined outlay of around £237 million. But with De Zerbi still keen to add more firepower before the deadline, further sales look likely as the club looks to balance the books and free up space for new arrivals.
The Times reports that Spurs remain busy in the market, with attacking reinforcements the priority — specifically two new forwards and a left-footed winger as De Zerbi looks to sharpen his attacking options for the season ahead.
To fund those moves, Tottenham are said to be focusing heavily on offloading players before the window shuts, with the club reportedly open to offers for several first-team regulars.
Djed Spence, Cristian Romero and Lucas Bergvall are among those whose futures are unclear. Although all three are seen as important squad members, Spurs are reportedly willing to let any of them go if their valuation is met.
Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is also drawing interest from elsewhere, while Richarlison remains a subject of transfer talk following another season of uncertainty. Neither departure is confirmed, but both could happen before deadline day if the circumstances line up.
Manor Solomon is another player tipped to leave. He wasn’t mentioned in the latest report, but is understood to have already been told he isn’t part of De Zerbi’s plans going forward.
Solomon spent last season on loan at Fiorentina, who had the option to make the move permanent for roughly £8.7 million but chose not to trigger it. A permanent deal isn’t off the table, though — Fiorentina are still said to be interested, provided Tottenham lower their asking price.
With more incomings expected and several key players’ futures up in the air, Tottenham’s squad could look markedly different by the close of the window. De Zerbi’s rebuild is picking up momentum, and the next few weeks will be pivotal as Spurs continue putting together a squad built to compete at the top level.
